Nora Goldschmidt is Associate Professor of Classics and Ancient History at Durham University and a member of the steering committee of the Durham Centre for Classical Reception. She is the author of Shaggy Crowns: Ennius’ Annales an Virgil’s Aeneid (Oxford, 2013), Afterlives of the Roman Poets: Biofiction and the Reception of Latin Poetry (Cambridge, 2019), and editor (with Barbara Graziosi) of Tombs of the Ancient Poets: Between Literary Reception and Material Culture (Oxford, 2018). She is currently working on a major new project funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council on the interactions between fragments of Graeco-Roman antiquity and the literary and visual cultures of modernism.
