Anna Bonnell-Freidin

Anna Bonnell Freidin is a historian of the Roman world. Her research focuses on reproduction, childbirth, and the life cycle from approximately the first century BCE through the third century CE. In 2018, she earned her doctorate in Classics from Princeton through the interdisciplinary Program in the Ancient World, along with a certificate in Gender and Sexuality Studies. She is currently an Assistant Professor of History at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
