Carlotta Santini earned her Ph.D. in Philosophy at the University of Paris IV – Sorbonne. She has worked or held fellowships at the Centre Marc Bloch pour les Sciences Sociales and TU Berlin University in Berlin, the École des hautes études en sciences sociales in Paris, and Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities (CRASSH) at the University of Cambridge. As specialist on Friedrich Nietzsche’s thought, her research interests include nineteenth-century German culture, especially classical scholarship and the reception of classical antiquity.
