We will be reading selections from Emily Greenwood, Afro-Greeks: Dialogues between Anglophone Caribbean Literature and Classics in the Twentieth Century (New York: Oxford University Press, 2010) and Greenwood’s “Reception Studies: The Cultural Mobility of Classics,” Daedalus 145.2 (2016), 41-49.
