We will be reading Yannis Hamilakis, “The Archaeologist as Shaman: The Sensory National Archaeology of Manolis Andronikos” from The Nation and Its Ruins (New York: Oxford University Press, 2007) and “Some Debts Can Never Be Repaid: The Archaeo-politics of the Crisis,” Journal of Modern Greek Studies 34.2 (2016), 227-64, together with Michel Foucault’s short essay “Of Other Spaces: Utopias and Heterotopias.”
